The area of desert grassland in Inner Mongolia is about 112000 square kilometers.Since ancient times,under the influence of many cultures,this area has a unique regional traditional residence.In order to adapt to the bad environment,the local herdsmen have accumulated the traditional green experience that can effectively use the ecological resources in the practice of generations of craftsmen.However,due to the lack of theoretical and technical support,the construction of local houses has abandoned the traditional green experience,and there are many problems,such as poor construction quality,backward construction techniques,fuzzy regional features and so on.In this era of rapid socio-economic development,the region has formed a situation of coexistence of development opportunities and practical problems.In this context,on the basis of exploring the green experience of traditional dwellings in the desert steppe area of Inner Mongolia,combined with the current fragile background of ecological environment in this area and the new situation of new rural construction in China,this paper attempts to summarize the green experience of traditional dwellings in line with the production and life style of herdsmen and the special geographical and ecological conditions in the desert steppe area,and apply it to the local areas In the process of residential renewal,the renewal strategy and ideal scheme design are put forward,hoping to improve the living environment of herdsmen in this area,improve the satisfaction of residents,and provide a reference for residential design in Inner Mongolia desert grassland area and even the whole desertification area.In the specific way of writing,the paper first analyzes the factors that can affect the construction of residential buildings,such as the natural environment and the general situation of human history.Then using the method of field research to extract the traditional green experience from the traditional houses,and starting from the current characteristics and existing problems of the houses,the indoor physical environment of thehouses in this area is tested on the spot.However,due to the fact that the field measurement is difficult to control the absolute variables,and easy to be affected by the external factors,it is necessary to simulate the indoor physical environment of the residential buildings in this area with the green building simulation software.Through the combination of actual measurement and simulation,we can judge the adaptability of residential buildings to climate in different seasons.Secondly,through the field survey of the residential overview,combined with relevant information to find and dig out the local residential development in plane,structure,materials,construction methods and other aspects.And analysis of the factors that promote the development of residential,and further put forward the reasons of the existing residential development difficulties in this area.Finally,on the basis of this in-depth analysis,taking the method of induction and deduction,this paper puts forward the renewal strategy from the two perspectives of "inheritance of traditional green experience" and "supplement of new green technology to traditional green experience",puts forward some new suggestions for the local existing dwellings in different situations,and plans and designs the trial scheme suitable for the region,so as to provide local dwellings construction with new suggestions Certain construction experience.
