The space of street and lane of the south of the lower reaches of the Yangze River is the soul of an ancient town and also a mark that distinguishes it from other cities.The regional and cultural characteristics that the space of streets and lanes of Luzhi ancient town conceive is different from those of other ancient towns in the south of the lower reaches of the Yangze River.Only when the streets and lanes space are protected can history and culture be truly protected.At the same time,the traditional streets and lanes space should coexist with the cities and carry forward and inherit the history and culture of the cities.In this paper,it takes the streets and lanes space of Luzhi ancient town historic district as the research object.By means of personal investigation and collection and organization of the relevant data,first of all,the protection of Luzhi ancient town was analyzed from the historical preservation process was analyzed,then the current situation and problems of the preservation of street and lane space of the Luzhi ancient town were analyzed from the macro street and lane space to the street and lane space of the Luzhi ancient town,and the reasonable suggestions were put forward based on the existing problems,besides,it put forward point of view for the future development while protecting,which is hoped that the street and lane space can not only obtain protection but also present a good development prospect.The paper is divided into six chapters,as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which interprets the background of the subject and the reasons for selecting this subject.In addition,this paper analyzes the research significance and research purpose,summarizes the research status at home and abroad,puts forward the research contents and methods,and clears out the framework in the end.The second chapter is to make a definition for some concepts and study some commonalities to quote the research on the personality of Luzhi ancient towns by means of.commonality researchThe third chapter analyzes the historical process,current situation of protection and existing protection status of street and street space protection,which paves the way for the following research on protection methodsThe fourth chapter is the study on protection method of street and lane.First of all,this paper put forward the principle of protection,then analyzed the protection measures from the two aspects,such as artificial style and non-material culture.In the end,it put forward the corresponding protection method by integrating modern principles.In the fifth chapter,while protecting,taking the street and lane space that should also be properly developed into consideration,the updating strategy was proposed,and analyzed and summarized the problems encountered in the process of protection and update,which is helpful to provide a reference for future career.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and outlook of the author.
