Under the background of rapid motorization,the growth of small car traffic has a great impact on the protection of the ancient city street space,the ancient city street space is straightened and widened,the building interface is damaged,and the place atmosphere is lost.In order to continue the historical characteristics of the ancient city streets and lanes space and alleviate the crux of the ancient city traffic,the author tries to analyze the lack of the old city streets and alleys space,explore the elements of the peaceful construction,and construct the protection and renewal strategy of the old city streets and alleys space,so as to achieve the overall goal of improving the quality of the ancient city streets and lanes space and continuing the traditional style.This thesis consists of five chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction,the beginning of this paper expounds the research background,points out the research problems,put forward the research purpose and significance;then,clear the scope and object of this paper,clearly define the relevant concepts,and on this basis carry on the domestic and foreign research summary,finally clear the research content,method and technical route.Chapter 2:Related theories and case studies,first of all,through the traffic tranquilization and the ancient city street space protection and the renewal related theory and the connotation carries on the research,discovers the two concern essential question.Then,through collecting and sorting out the domestic and foreign traffic tranquilization and the ancient city street space protection and renewal related practice case,carries on the classification summary to the existing design strategy,extracts the experience.Chapter 3:Based on the study of the status quo of the ancient city streets and lanes space,first,to make clear the function of the ancient city streets and lanes space under the perspective of traffic peace,and then to the existing ancient city streets and lanes space classification and attribute characteristics.Then the paper combs the present situation of the ancient city street space,discusses the adaptability of the traffic tranquilization theory to the protection and renewal of the ancient city street space,and determines its guiding significance.Chapter 4:Based on the construction of the ancient city street space protection and renewal strategy,this chapter through the analysis of the ancient city street space peaceful composition elements,clear the relationship between the elements,study the "traffic tranquilization" concept of the ancient city street space protection and renewal path,put forward the street space protection and renewal objectives and principles,clear protection and renewal content.Then,based on the concept of "traffic tranquilization ",this paper puts forward the strategy of reconstruction of traffic system,continuation of spatial characteristics and improvement of space environment for space protection and renewal of ancient city streets and alleys.Chapter 5: Based on the practice of space protection and renewal in the streets and lanes of Anyang ancient city,this paper takes Anyang ancient city as an example to demonstrate the strategy put forward in the fourth chapter.First of all,the empirical object —— Anyang ancient city street and lane space characteristics,combing the current situation of street and lane space,and then targeted to put forward the Anyang ancient city street space protection and renewal strategy.
