Study On Urban Morphology Features And Renewal Strategies Of Fenghuang Ancient Town In Zhashui County

China has a long history and a huge geographical area with a large number of historical villages and towns.The location of these historical settlements and their spatial morphological characteristics contain the construction ideas of the traditional human settlement environment accumulated through the long history.At the same time,a large amount of regional material and intangible heritage remains in historical villages and towns,making it an important base for contemporary scholars to study our country's regional traditional culture.However,due to the continuous attention and development investment of relatively underdeveloped urban areas in recent years,a large number of economic and infrastructure constructions have made many backward historical towns enter the stage of high-speed urbanization construction and development.China is currently fully developing and implementing the "Village Revitalization Strategy",and villages and towns are facing a new round of urban development planning and the need to upgrade the original spatial environment.How to effectively coordinate the contradiction between the protection and development of historical towns,the basic investigation and data collection of historical space environment has become an urgent task.This paper takes the example of Fenghuang Ancient Town in Zhashui County,Shangluo City,Shaanxi Province as an example.The ancient town of Fenghuang in Zhashui County has a long history,and the history of town construction with relevant historical materials can be traced back to the period of Tang Wude which is 1400 years ago.The prosperous business atmosphere and frequent exchanges also promoted the ancient town of Fenghuang to become a regional trade center town where a variety of traditional cultures and customs blend in the south and north of the Qinling Mountains(between Jingchu and Qin).There is a historical old street in Fenghuang Ancient Town,which was built in the late Ming Dynasty.The street is narrow and twisted.The historical residential courtyards on both sides are relatively well-preserved and have significant characteristics such as its spatial pattern and construction methods of the southern traditional Huizhou architecture.It is built with local materials such as stone,earth and wood,which have the characteristics of traditional regional architecture.The ancient town is based on the strip-shaped historical town spatial form formed by the historical blocks and the coordinated natural mountain and water environment.It is also an important historical town human settlement environment with research and protection value.Facing the gradual construction and development of the ancient town of Fenghuang in the modern urban space,how to effectively propose appropriate strategies for the protection and development of various morphological factors of the ancient town.This requires corresponding research and analysis of the modern evolution process and current situation of its urban morphology,the characteristics of historical humanistic environment and natural geographical environment,and the characteristics of various elements of urban form.The study in this paper takes Fenghuang Ancient Town in Zhashui County as an example,which is the main method for the hierarchical study of urban spatial morphology based on urban morphology.Through the study of the modern evolution of urban form of ancient towns,the paper summarizes the development process and internal laws of the spatial form of ancient towns and the problems presented by the historical spatial form of ancient towns under the dual requirements of protection and development.Through the hierarchical study of various spatial forms of the ancient town,based on the protection and inheritance of the traditional culture in the spatial form of the ancient town,it gives various types of morphological elements appropriate protection and renewal strategies,and puts forward space reform proposals.At the same time,the study of the urban morphology features of the ancient towns of Fenghuang can also provide us with a scientific theoretical basis and research methods for the research of similar historical villages and towns.
