Urban residents hope to travel in a safe,convenient and efficient way,which caused a rapid increase in the number of cars.However,the number of car is the main causes of traffic congestion.The effective way to relieve the traffic congestion is to increase the proportion of bus trips.Setting bus lanes is an important measures to improve the bus travel efficiency.It could greatly improve the bus speed and punctuality by setting bus lane,but it also brought new problems to urban road traffic.When the bus lane extends to the intersection,it could be called a bus-only approach.The bus-only approach can reduce the mutual interference between buses and social vehicles,but it would also damage the traffic efficiency of social vehicles by occupy a normal lanes,increase traffic delays of social vehicles at intersections.When setting unreasonable,it even could causes a queuing overflow at the upstream intersection and affects the smooth passage of the whole road network.When the bus lane is not extended to the intersection,the total delay of the intersections will increased and even make the setting of section bus lanes meaningless.Besease of the interweaving of social vehicles and buses.Hence,in this paper,we studied the most commen organizational form of road-side bus lane and try to provide convenience for bus which has large capacity without increasing the average delay at the intersection.The specific content of this paper is structured as follows:Under the premise of setting up bus lanes,in this paper,we expounds the influence of "non-overtaking " rules on the characteristics of bus inbound and outbound.And then explore the bus arrival rate and the headway of the outbound buses which is influenced by the bus lanes and bus stops.At last,the bus outbound headway model has established and applied to the intersection delaye analysis.With the analyzes of the traffic characteristics of bus lane weaving area.Under the condition that the bus has absolute priority in the interweaving area,the influence of the volume of bus and social vehicles on setting length of interweaving area has been studied.And the traffic conditions for setting the right-turn mode is determined by the limit of certain weaving length.At last,verify the accuracy of the model by comparing the actual survey data with the model calculated data.Combining the analysis of the traffic characteristics of the bus,the arrival rate of the bus,The traffic volume of bus,right transfer traffic and weaving length,the total delay model of the intersections is established.The bus and right turn traffic condition of setting the bus-only approach has obtained by comparing the total passengers delay at the intersection before and after setting bus-only approach.In this article,through the actual data of model parameter calibration,and through the VISSIM traffic simulation model are verified.Model to calculate weaving length,length of mixed between calculated value and actual value of the average error is 9.63%,theinvestigation right transfer traffic volume forecasting results and actual values between the average error is 9.45%,are within 10%.Showed in this paper,the modeling process in line with the actual situation right transfer and running characteristic of bus.Total contrast bus passenger delay reduction and social car total passenger delay increase,and the size of the total passenger delay gain value through the intersection judge whether intersections with bus special import.Via simulation delay gain value and model computation delay gain error within the 20 s,model has certain accuracy.
