With the vigorous development of the automotive industry,heavy-duty commercial vehicles are developing rapidly in the industry,but at present,there are still a large number of product quality problems in domestic commercial vehicles,which are quite different from the similar products abroad.How to improve the reliability of heavy commercial vehicles has become a technical difficulty.In this context,FMECA is introduced to analyze the failure modes of heavy commercial vehicles in detail,so that the reliability of commercial vehicles can be effectively improved.The field of commercial vehicles in China by using the FMECA method to analysis of heavy truck is relatively small,but the heavy commercial vehicle because of its complexity and particularity of the structure,FMECA analysis can provide reliable reference basis for the structure and function of vehicle design and improvement on it has very important practical significance.First,the development of reliability and the development and present situation of automobile reliability technology in China are introduced.Secondly,according to the functional structure of the vehicle,the heavy commercial vehicles are divided into seven subsystems,and then a system reliability block diagram and reliability model are set up.Based on the reliability block diagram and the whole vehicle fault data,the FMECA form of the whole vehicle system is established by the criteria of FMECA key item scoring standard.Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of FMECA on the vehicle subsystem;finally,based on the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of FMECA subsystem failure results in identifying high risk failure mode and puts forward some improvement measures,and then from the vehicle in failure mode distribution were analyzed and some suggestions are put forward in the vehicle design when the design basis for the enterprise of vehicle reliability.Based on the FMECA analysis of a heavy commercial vehicle,the detailed FMECA form and high-risk failure mode of every subsystem of the vehicle are obtained,which provides data support for vehicle reliability design and has important practical significance for improving vehicle reliability.
