The steel structure industry and steel structure construction industry in China have witnessed rapid development with the further development of science and technology in recent years,and the development of steel structure-related industries is changing with each passing day.The steel structure system is gradually replacing the traditional brick-concrete structure by virtue of its strong comprehensive advantages.On the one hand,the steel structure has the characteristics of high strength,strong earthquake resistance,light weight and short construction period.On the other hand,its space utilization is high,its environmental pollution is small and its plasticity is strong.It also caters to the modern society's environmental protection and green The new concept of development.Steel structure with its "high,big,light" features superior to the traditional steel structure and reinforced concrete structure.In this paper,the state space method is used to study the mechanical properties of steel frame structure.On the static problem,considering the shear deformation of the structural slab and adopting the simplified calculation model of piecewise continuous,the equilibrium equation is established based on the lateral displacement of the structure as the unknown variable.According to the state space theory,the appropriate state variables are selected to establish the corresponding Then the state transfer matrix is solved with the known boundary conditions and the state space solution of shear and lateral displacement at any height of the steel frame structure is obtained.On the dynamic issue,the calculation model uses the layer model,and according to the structural dynamics equation,taking the velocity and displacement of the structural system as the state variables,the state equation of the dynamic analysis of the steel frame structure is established.By applying the method of the Galerkin-Hamiltonian theorem Solve the matrix exponential function and find the state space solution of the structural dynamic problem.At the same time,the seismic action is taken into account and the EL-Centro site seismic wave is selected to calculate the dynamic response of the steel frame structure under the earthquake conditions.Finally,the concrete numerical simulation example is given,and the theoretical formula deduced in this paper is aided by Matlab mathematic programming software to obtain the shear force and lateral displacement value of steel frame structure under horizontal uniform load.The steel frame structure The natural frequency,the maximum layer displacement and thedisplacement response of the floor under the action of earthquake,and compares the theoretical numerical results obtained by this method with that of the finite element Midas Gen software.From the comparison of the results,the results of the calculation method in this paper are very similar to that of the finite element software of Midas Gen.The errors are small.Therefore,the mechanical analysis of steel frame structure based on state space method proposed in this paper is very reliable,and the solution form is simple and accurate,which is easy to be applied,thus further expanding the application of state space method in building structure analysis.
