Short leg shear wall structure which is a new type of structure system with wellearthquake resistant behavior has invoked great notation and is developing greatly,however,there even has something that need to research more deeply, that are itsmechanical model,dynamic behavior and the method of analysis.Fist of all,this paper built a spline finite wall element molel for the short legshear,wall and inventively applied the concept of transformation,three B splinefuction and distribute spline function to the analysis of mechanical model, and thedynamic equation can be draw finally The following is to introduce the state spaceconcept of model control theory, and subject the state space time history analysis method for the high-stories constructure with short leg shear wall and the dynamicresponse of the structure at any time point can be calculated Finally this paperproduced the structure's dynamic time history analysis programs and analysiedsome calculation examples.Throught the theory analyzing and calculation case comparing, it is explicitthat the method used in this paper exactly reflected this structure's mechanicalbehavior. With the character of easy calculation and reliable conclusion, themethod is thought to be feasible.
