In recent years, due to the demand of using function,high-rise buildings usually require a large space on the lower floor and a small space on the upper floor, which results in uneven vertical stiffness of the structure. For this reason,we need to set up transfer storey for structural transformation in the building. In the actual project, the setting position of the transfer story is different because of the influence of many factors. The conversion layer in different locations have a large impact on the aseismatic performance and the seismic response of the structure. Therefore, the in-depth study concerning the setting location of the conversion layer in the high-rise building structure can provide further theoretical basis for the design in the actual project. This paper uses SAP2000 to analyze the impact of the setting location of the conversion layer on aseismatic performance of high-rise buildings structure. The research content mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Explaining and anlayzing of the relevant provisions of the high-rise building structures with conversion layer in the national code of our country;(2)Three kinds of finite element models are established according to the different setting positions of the conversion layer.Modal analysis is performed on the three finite element models respectively, and Analyzing the effect of the setting position of the conversion layer on the dynamic performance of the structure.(3)Analysis is established on the three models by using mode-superposition response spectrum method. And analyzing the effect of the setting position of the conversion layer on the interlayer displacement angle and story shear force.(4)Using time-history analysis for the three established models and comparing to the consequences of the time-procedure analysis.Researching and analyzing ulteriorly the earthquake resistant behaviour of the structure.
