In the field of architecture, the application of the large chassis twin towers structure system is becoming more and more extensive, and the research on this kind of structural system is becoming more and more thorough, but there are few research achievements on the large chassis twin towers structure.Because of the complex and changeable body structure and few reference examples,it is very difficult to optimize the analysis, especially in the processing of the support of the connection and the analysis of the data extraction. This thesis summarizes the development trend, research status and analysis method of twin towers continuous building structure, and uses PKPM and MIDAS software to analyze the overall and local modeling of the super high-rise twin towers joint structure of a large chassis with a post-added corridor: through the time history analysis and the vibration mode decomposition response spectrum considering the influence of torsional coupling vibration. The method is to study the effect of the joint on the seismic performance of the original structure under the action of the horizontal seismic wave.By establishing the load displacement curve of the structure, the Pushover static elastoplastic analysis is carried out on the original structure and the whole structure with a post-added corridor, and the stress and strain of the corridor itself is analyzed, and the different support types are compared and analyzed. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of the two softwares PKPM/SATWE and MIDAS in modeling and analysis are systematically compared.Through the above analysis,it is concluded that the displacement of each structural layer increases with the increase of layers and reaches the maximum in the top of the structure; The change trend of interlayer displacement angle of the original twin towers structure is first increasing, then decreasing, then developing steadily, and having a sudden change at the junction of the chassis and the twin towers; The post-added corridor can weaken the influence of the seismic action of the original structure to a certain extent,so that the vibration period of the original structure is prolonged, the frequency is reduced, and theinterlayer displacement angle is reduced, etc; In addition, the impact of the corridor on the seismic performance of the original structure is related to the type of support at the connection: the rigid bearing has the greatest influence, and the influence of the hinge support and the sliding support is slightly smaller; Both of the original structure and the whole structure with a post-added corridor have entered the elastoplastic stage in the process of static nappe, and the distribution of plastic hinge in the two structure is similar after reaching the performance point. At the end of the thesis, the problems of further study on the connecting structure of the large chassis with a post-added corridor are put forward in the end of the paper. The research results obtained in this paper will serve as a reference for the engineering construction and academic research of the large chassis overrun high-rise connecting structure.
