Isolation technology is a new type of passive control damping technology,with the characteristics of effectiveness,adaptability and economy.The interlayer seismic isolation technology is a special kind of base isolation setting the isolation layer between the floors to achieve the purpose of damping seismic.For buildings with special requirements,when the base isolation can not meet the requirements,it can use the form of interlaye seismic isolation,so that the application of isolation technology is more extensive.Due to the advantages of light weight,green environmental protection and short construction period,steel structures are gradually applied to residential structures.However,under the action of seismic forces,node destruction,local instability and overall collapse easily occur.Seismic performance will be improved for buildings with special requirements such as hospitals and laboratories under seismic forces to meet the requirements of using functions.This paper first discusses the characteristics and shortcomings of traditional anti-seismic,and also introduces the development and application of isolation technology.Isolation bearings are an important part of the isolation system.This paper describes the classification of isolation bearings,the mechanical properties and structural characteristics of laminated rubber bearings.The theoretical calculation model of interlayer seismic isolation has two-particle points,three-particle points and multi-particle model.The paper introduces its characteristics respectively,and then discusses the theory and method of dynamic analysis of the interlaye seismic isolation.Based on the finite element analysis SAP2000 software,finite element models of the non-isolated structure and storey isolated structures are established on a multi-storey steel structure residence.Dynamic analysis of the structures' seismic response including the storey shear,the story displacement and the acceleration and displacement of roof are conducted under frequently occurred earthquake using liner time-history analysis method.The rule and characteristics of the multi-storey steel structure residence with interlayer seismic isolation are studied.The feasibility and validity of interlayer seismic isolation in multi-storey steel structure residence is verified.Research indicates:1.The interlayer seismic isolation structure effectively prolongs the natural vibration period of the structure.As the isolation layer moves upward,the extension rate decreases,the participation coefficient of the first vibration mode shapes decreases,and the influence of the first few modes increases.2.Under the action of horizontal seismic force,the deformation of the structure is mainly concentrated on the seismic isolation layer.The structure above the seismic isolation layer is approximately translational,which reduces the occurrence the horizontal-torsional coupling effect of the structure.When the location of the isolation layer increases,the deformation on the seismic isolation layer decreases and the effect of seismic isolation decreases.3.Interlayer isolation structure weakens the shear of floor and acceleration of the top.With the rise of the isolation layer,the acceleration of the floor below the isolation layer tends to increase,indicating that the isolation effect is obviously different when the isolation locations are different.
