The assembly of the product is the last step of the production process.The rationality of the product assembly determines the product performance and manufacturing cost to a great extent.All over the world,wind power has undergone a rapid development in the past 20 years.The capacity of the installed wind turbines has increased rapidly.China is also the fastest growing country in the wind turbine assembly capacity.If the wind turbine assembly process is not reasonable,it will not only cause the additional production costs but also seriously affect the quality of the wind turbines.In order to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese wind power industry,reduce the production cost of wind turbines,we need to execute assembly sequence planning before the production of the wind turbine.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Establishing the mathematical model of the assembly planning problem.In the assembly model,the assembly oriented graph is used to represent the assembly model with a variety of qualitative constraints.The advantage of this assembly model is that it can reduce the solution space of assembly sequence planning,speed up the algorithms to find the optimal solution and ensure the assembly stability of the product in the actual assembly process.(2)The ant colony algorithm is improved by incorporating the Ecological Symbiosis algorithm.Experimental results show that the improved ant colony algorithm incorporated with the symbiotic algorithm is better than the original ant colony algorithm in the optimization of assembly sequences for wind turbines.Under the same preconditions,the improved ACO not only detects the better assembly sequences,but also requires less computation time.
