Development Of Virtual Assembling And Functional Demonstrating System For Rehabilitation Nursing Equipment

The trend of population aging intensified,uninterrupted wars,natural disasters,accidents and otherwise,make the population of disabled people get larger and larger.This is an opportunity and a challenge for rehabilitation nursing equipment industry gradually arisen,opportunity lies in the broad market prospect,the challenge is the domestic rehabilitation nursing equipment industry has not enough strength to compete with the industry's giants represented by Japan,America,Germany,etc.This article references the successful application of virtual reality technology in the fields of processing simulation,teaching demonstration,etc.Based on the science and technology planed project of Dalian——the design development for intelligent endowment facilities based on virtual reality and simulation(project number:2014A11GX043)to build virtual assembling and functional demonstration platform for rehabilitation nursing equipment,the methods will promote the development of the domestic rehabilitation nursing equipment industry effectively.Virtual assembling and functional demonstrating system for rehabilitation nursing equipment based on Quest3D is developed in this paper.The main work of this article could be divided into four parts.The first part is getting the 3D models of rehabilitation nursing equipment in Quest3D successfully.Establishing the 3D models of nursing equipment through Pro/e in the first place.Then processing the 3D models through 3D Max.Importing them into Quest3D finally;The second part is setting up the mathematical models of assembling buttons design,the design of model picking and removing and path selection design of assembling on the basis of the 3D model imported in,so as to complete the virtual assembling module for the system in Quest3D;The third part is establishing the functional demonstrating module for the system,this part mainly includes making functional demonstrating animation and designing demonstrating scene;The fourth part of the article mainly includes developing the human-computer interface,integrating,releasing and testing the system.Finally,virtual assembling and functional demonstrating system for rehabilitation nursing equipment is published for web page version which could be accessed remotely and 3D version which could be experienced in virtual reality environment.It achieves the intended functions and targets.
