Mechanical brake is the core component of the wind turbine generator system,as a ultimate braking segment,its braking performance and reliability are the key to ensure the safe operation of the wind turbine generator system.Currently,in our country megawatt class brakes for large power wind turbine generator are most dependent on import,which is mainly due to our country still cannot fully master the design and manufacture technology of core components of megawatt class wind power brake,while as to the imitation of foreign brake,because of the hysteresis of manufacturing process research,the product has differences from original product on braking efficiency,braking reliability.Therefore,the research on machining,surface treatment process of key components of the megawatt wind power brake has great significance to improve product quality and application performance of domestic megawatt wind power brake,break the foreign monopoly,so as to promote the core competitiveness of our independent researched and developed megawatt class wind power brake products.Based on the mechanism moving-back problem in breaking process of 2MW wind power disc brake produced by our factory,this paper conducts manufacturing process analysis and research on the core components of the brake,and puts forward the processing technology and surface treatment method for core component manufacturing process to solve the mechanism moving-back problem in breaking process,the main research works are shown as follows.(1)By comparing the working surface manufacturing technology of domestic compensation nut and that of imported brake,extrusion machining scheme is proposed,and 2-D,3-D finite element simulation model on extrusion machining process are conducted by using Ansys and Deform software,respectively.(2)The process scheme of extrusion machining process on working surface of compensation components is studied,the process experiment study of extrusion machining process is conducted,from the result analysis of orthogonal experiment,optimized processing parameters are obtained.(3)The surface treatment technology of core components of brake is analyzed,and surface treatment experiments such as gas nitriding,ARCOR processing and QPQ treatment are carried out on the core components of brake,the improvement of different surface treatment processes to the performance of workpiece surface are studied.And then an process improvement project by using QPQ treatment technology to treat the surface of compensation mechanism is proposed.(4)Finally,the braking test of 2MW mechanical brake is designed,the comparison and analysis of braking performance of the product before and after improving are made,it has been verified by experiment that the improved 2MW mechanical brake product has significant improvements on braking stability,reliability,and the range of braking.
