The Analysis And Study Of Dining Space Design Based On The Theory Of Phenomenon Transparency

With the development of modern society and the improvement of living standard,people are no longer just satisfied with the demand for material needs.The demand of spiritual level is increasing.Therefore,the experiential economy has become a major trend of development nowadays.As an important part of consumer service industry,along with the change of social demand,the catering industry is also in constant transformation and growth all the time: compared with the traditional catering industry,the modern one not only need to meet with the requirements for taste and price from the customers,but also need to achieve the value of experience when the customers enjoy the service and the meal.The theory of transparency proposed by the famous architect Colin Rowe,which was divided into two aspects :physical transparency and phenomenon transparency.The former mainly refers to the building materials with light-admitting quality while the latter one mainly refers to the building design strategies for modernist architecture based on a large number of project surveys.It is also a kind of spatial organization relationship when the spaces are overlapped,permeated or indicated.And when it happens the spatial experience will be judged by the space experiencer along with huge space perception.This article focuses on the problem how to enrich the space perception in the dining space design.The concept and design methods of the theory of phenomenon transparency are introduced to the survey to solve the problem.Based on the characteristics and functions demand for dining space,starting from the design theory ofphenomenon transparency in the field of architecture,with theoretical migration,specific case analysis,space design and construction methods,expand and deep design principle,then more standardized,universal design methods will be obtained during the research.This research aims to have a thorough understanding of the theory of phenomenon transparency,to make up for the theory in the field of interior design,in order to provide a better understanding of the catering space design in the next study.
