With the accelerating process of urbanization,the original natural hydrological mechanism and the balance between supply and demand of water resources have been destroyed.Although there is an increase in the amount of city park green spaces,it also consumes a large amount of water in the engineering construction,plant watering and later-stage management of those city parks.At present,urban parks do not pay enough attention to the rational use of water resources,resulting in the waste of a large amount of water resources.Urban parks need a more reasonable mode of rainwater management.GIS has powerful geospatial analysis capabilities,making it widely used in urban landscape planning and design.This paper relates urban park rainwater management and GIS technology,takes Baiquan Park in Xinxiang as the research object,and puts forward the application strategy of urban park rainwater management supported by GIS spatial analysis technology based on the theory of rainwater management.In the park and surrounding areas,local rainwater is absorbed and rainwater is effectively managed,thereby reducing the pressure on the municipal pipe network and effectively saving water resources.This paper deeply studies the advanced theories and outstanding cases in rainwater management at home and abroad,and the research status and development trend of GIS technology in rainwater management.Introduce GIS into the field of rainwater management research and provide more scientific and rigorous data support and guidance for existing urban park stormwater management technologies.Under the ideological guidance of letting nature do its work and making full use of every drop of rainwater resources,the various processes of rainwater management are integrated with the urban landscape.Based on the analysis of the basic natural conditions in Xinxiang,the potential of rainwater resources in the Baiquan Park area was analyzed.Utilizing the powerful functions of GIS in spatial analysis and graphic expressions,a comprehensive analysis of the relevant factors of rainwater management at the site was conducted,and combined with the current conditions of Baiquan Park,a set of rainwater management strategies applicable to Baiquan Park was proposed and corresponding renovation plans were proposed.Through the zoning of quantitative rainwater management facilities,rainwater is collected from buildings,roads,plazas,green areas,etc.,and distributed and managed in a centralized manner to allow rainwater to be saved and reused in Baiquan Park.This will ease the water shortage in Baiquan Park,improve the space for regional human settlements,and provide reference for rainwater management in other parks in Xinxiang.
