High-end equipment manufacturing is the backbone of China's manufacturing industry in the future,and the aviation equipment manufacturing industry,which is based on large aircraft projects,is the pinnacle of high-end equipment manufacturing.Developing aviation equipment manufacturing industry is the inevitable choice of China's current economic development and industrial development stage.As the core component of power supply,aero-engine is the most important component of aircraft.In the process of aircraft assembly,the installation of engine is an important link.However,the heavy weight,large volume,complex shape and complicated configuration of the engine,as well as the small installation gap,make the installation of the engine very difficult.With the rapid development of China's civil aviation industry,the demand for the crew with high quality and strong skills is becoming more and more urgent.The traditional training methods are aviation publication,multimedia courseware and so on.These methods are lack of interactivity,and the sense of realistic experience is poor.In order to solve this problem,this paper takes the CFM57-36 engine produced by GE Company as the research object and develops the virtual reality design and research.The working principle of the engine is analyzed,and the basic structure and technical parameters of the CFM57-36 engine are obtained.On this basis,the three-dimensional modeling of the aero-engine is constructed by using UG NX software,and the assembly of the whole engine is realized.By using 3DS Max software,special effects such as illumination and material are added to the model.Using virtual reality engine tool Unity 3D,the virtual scene of aero-engine is created.By adding collision detection,writing script control program,designing user graphical interface,scene roaming of aero-engine is realized.Adding interaction to the scene enable users to use virtual reality devices to gain experience.Based on Java Web technology,the design and development of aero-engine virtual simulation teaching management system are completed.With this system,users can learn the basic knowledge and virtual disassembly of the engine through browser.The virtual interaction with the aero-engine is realized,and the function of managing the learning progress and status of the students is realized,so as to ensure the learning and training effect of the students.It has been proved by practice that the aero-engine virtual simulation project designed in this paper has the characteristics of good interaction and strong practical experience,which enables students to quickly and deeply understand the principle,structure and assembly of aero-engine.The virtual simulation teaching management system can make students learn engine knowledge better,and greatly improve the training effect of students.The research of this subject provides a reference for the application of virtual reality technology to other parts of aircraft and the virtual simulation design of the whole aircraft,and also has a positive role in promoting the development of civil aviation crew training in our country.
