The development and utilization of the marine resources is of great significance for the rapid development of China's economy.Deep-water semi-submersible production platform is an important tool for marine resources exploitation which can achieve the set of drilling,exploitation,transportation,construction,surveying,navigation and other activities as an organic whole,and can operate in the ocean for a long time.There is an independent power system on the platform,and the diesel generating set is used as the power generation device to provide electrical energy for each equipment on the platform.In this paper,the main research is about the high power synchronous generator in the diesel generating set.According to the demand of electric power system on the platform,it is required to accomplish the design of a high power generator which is suitable for the working environment on the platform.And the efficiency of the generator is further optimized by optimizing the design parameters.Firstly,the basic structure and classification of synchronous generator are studied,the relationship of the internal electromagnetic conversion is analyzed,to obtain the voltage equation of generator on symmetric steady state operation.The phasor diagram is drawn according to the equation.The loss and efficiency of the generator is analyzed.Secondly,according to the design requirements of high power synchronous generator on the platform,the body design of generator is accomplished by calculation method and analogy method.The main parameters include stator and rotor core of the generator,stator and rotor winding types and wire specifications,structure of magnetic pole,size of stator slot.The other parameters are completed through the motor design software and to make the generator meet the design requirements.Then,the methods of magnetic circuit calculation and finite element are used to calculate the electromagnetic parameters of the generator.Finite element method is used to simulate the internal magnetic field distribution of the generator on no-load and rated load condition.The voltage on the armature end and the loss of the generator on no-load and rated load condition is analyzed,and the results is compared with before.Then,Taguchi method is used to further optimize the parameters of the generator,in order to improve the efficiency.The optimized parameters include stator outer-diameter,core length,air gap length,stator slot height and width,wire specifications of stator and rotor windings,and rotor pole offset.Finally,the 2D and 3D temperature fields of the generator are simulated by the finite element method.The two results are compared and analyzed,so as to provide references for the insulation selection of generators.
