Remodeling The Vitality Design Of The Old City With The Guidance Of "City Renovation" And "Organic Renewal"

Urban development includes urban internal renewal and urban expansion,while the old city as an important part of the city is closely related to urban renewal and development.Old city not only carries the memory of a city,street life contains the city culture and people's emotional ties for the city residents to provide a psychological sense of belonging.Many old districts are facing declining risks due to a lack of adequate attention and appropriate strategies for reconstruction.This article begins with the combing of the urban renewal and development in our country,reveals the current situation and contradictions of the old city's development,analyses the urgency and necessity of the old city's renewal and development,and explores and draws lessons from the many successful case studies at home and abroad.At the same time,with urban repair,cultural continuation and organic renewal as the guiding ideas,the paper summarizes the design countermeasures to restore the vitality of the old city in four aspects:traffic,space,architecture and neighborhood environment.Finally,the space design model of the old city is put forward,and the way of remaking the vitality of the old city is explored.
