Research On Landscape Vitality Analysis And Renewal Strategy Of Characteristic Blocks Based On Urban Catalyst

With the transformation of China’s development from "extensive" to "fine",the state and government attach great importance to the improvement of urban quality and carry out urban renewal.As an important part of the city,characteristic blocks can show the unique temperament of the city,and the renewal of characteristic blocks is an important part of urban renewal work.However,at present,most of the updates of characteristic blocks blindly imitate excellent neighborhood cases,resulting in increasingly homogenized landscapes and gradual decline in landscape vitality.Urban catalyst is an element that can gather popularity in the city,and through the renewal of urban catalyst,it can exert its catalytic value and stimulate the vitality of the city’s landscape.Therefore,this thesis takes the urban catalyst of Hefei 1912 block as the research object,the existing literature and related principal component analysis methods were used to screen and evaluate the evaluation indexes,and the evaluation system of characteristic block urban catalyst landscape vitality was constructed.Based on the evaluation system,the entropy weight method and grey correlation degree were used to score the street sample,and the Pearson correlation was used to analyze the landscape vitality of its urban catalyst,so as to formulate the renewal strategy of the urban catalyst in the 1912 block and improve its landscape vitality.The main findings are as follows:(1)Based on the current situation,the literature research method and field research method were used to determine the potential urban catalyst in the 1912 block of Hefei,and the evaluation index was preliminarily selected.The correlation-principal component analysis method was used to screen the evaluation index,and the landscape vitality evaluation system of the urban catalyst of characteristic neighborhoods was constructed.(2)Analysis of the landscape vitality of urban catalyst in Hefei 1912 block.Firstly,the data are obtained by behavioral annotation,the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and intrinsic composition mechanism of landscape vitality of neighborhood urban catalysts are analyzed,and then the entropy weight method and grey correlation degree are used to score the street samples.Finally,Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the vitality of the urban catalyst elements in Hefei’s 1912 block.The results found that the landscape vitality of non-material catalysts such as cultural characteristics(0.586)and functional formats(0.648)in Hefei 1912 block was higher,but the landscape vitality of material catalysts such as public space(-0.169)and street facilities(0.465)was low.It shows that the functional format of Hefei 1912 block is reasonably arranged and has certain cultural resource advantages,but the utilization rate of some street facilities is not high,the experience of public space is average,and the crowd activities of the block and the landscape vitality of the urban catalyst are unevenly distributed in space.(3)Develop the renewal strategy of Hefei 1912 block urban catalyst.According to the strength of the landscape vitality of the urban catalyst in Hefei 1912 block,a targeted renewal strategy was formulated.Strengthen and utilize the catalyst of characteristic neighborhood cities with strong landscape vitality such as cultural characteristics and functional formats,so that they can play a greater catalyst advantage and attractiveness.Optimize and shape the urban catalyst of characteristic blocks with weak landscape vitality,such as public spaces and street facilities,and build humanized spatial nodes,trigger catalyst effects,and stimulate landscape vitality.This thesis not only provides new ideas for the analysis and renewal of urban catalysts,but also provides effective theoretical methods and strategic schemes for the creation of characteristic street landscape vitality.
