With the accelerating development of urbanization,the economy of small and medium-sized cities and surrounding rural areas has rapidly increased.The intensity of land development and the population scale have increased rapidly,and the number of car ownership has increased year by year.The problems existing in the original urban traffic planning have gradually become prominent.Problems such as unreasonable bus route,inconvenient site setting,low transport capacity,low utilization rate,and insufficient coverage area have become increasingly prominent.The interaction between urban and rural passenger flow is not smooth.In order to respond to the ever-expanding city scale and population scale,adapt to the growing demand of residents for travel and ease the traffic pressure brought about by the rapid development of cars,this article takes Shulan City of Jilin Province as a case,and takes bus priority as the basic principle to put forward a specific optimization plan for the urban and rural integrated bus line network in Shulan City.It will strive to implement the “Minimum Public Transport Priority” urban transport policy of the Ministry of Construction,build a comprehensive urban-rural integrated bus line network system and increase the attractiveness and service capacity of public transport.This study will improve the road traffic environment,establish a reasonable structure of transportation modes,and provide more convenient,efficient,safe,and comfortable public transportation services for residents.Based on the field survey data of Shulan residents and land use situation,this study establishes an urban-rural integration bus line network planning model,and uses ant colony algorithm to solve the model.It will propose an optimization plan for the bus line network in Shulan City,predict the amount of urban passenger flow in the coming years,and put forward a plan for planning the public transportation network.The research results will improve the travel structure of residents in Shulan City,increase the sharing rate of public transport and promote the orderly development of urban construction and public transport construction.Besides,it will coordinate the requirements of economic and social development and urban construction,enhance the urban image and urban grade,improve the status quo of public transport in the city,and meet the needs of citizens for public transportation.It will also provide scientific basis for the construction of urban and rural integrated public transport networks in other small and medium-sized cities.
