| The water distribution system,WDS for short,is the essential part of the city infrastructure,taking the responsibility of distributing drinkable water enough and safely from the water treatment work to the user demand zones.It is vital and significant to ensure the safety of the municipal water supply.Due to many natural hazards often happening,it has been becoming a hot topic increasingly for the study of the resilience and resistant ability of WDS under outage operation situation.It has the positive and significant meaning for ensuring the safety of municipal water supply,reliability and service level to study the resilience ability of WDS.In the article,first of all,the definition of resilience ability of WDS is summarized by taking the reference of the resilience definition in other different areas.The difference of the definition between resilience and resistance of WDS is proposed as well in order to establish the orientation and definition for the study,which the resilience and resistance can be appraised by time to interrupt in the WDS.Secondly,the modelling method is analyzed which is met with WDS standard.The classification standard of the building-model data of the VoyageTM model is proposed originally through the analysis of used modeling method and building-model data.After understanding WDS comprehensively,the VoyageTM model is built,which is based on the ExtendSIM operation platform.Finally,the model results are analyzed by the method of What-If and Monte Carlo,obtaining the qualitative conclusions and quantitative index of the resistance ability and reliability of WDS.The results show that it can be achieved that the resistance ability and reliability of WDS can be appraised by using VoyageTMM toolbox based on the ExtendSIM platform.The method is targeted,extensive and wide-application.However,it has strong subjectivity during building the model.There is no common standard about how to use data.Therefore,it is remained to strengthen on the standard of using data. |
