As an important node in the aviation logistics industry chain,air cargo terminals play a key role in air cargo transportation.According to relevant statistics,in the whole process of air transportation,only the ground treatment link accounts for 90% of the time.The use of scientific research methods to improve the operational efficiency of air cargo terminals is the key to improving the timeliness of airport logistics services.The air cargo terminal has the characteristics of complicated operation process and randomly arrival of transport goods,so it is difficult to analyze and optimize the cargo terminal system by using planning or operational research methods.However,the simulation is different from traditional optimization methods.It can combine the actual complex logistics system with the rigorous mathematical model,reduce the actual operation of the air cargo terminal through an intuitive and simple simulation method,find the bottleneck,and then find a solution.Firstly,in this paper,the modeling idea of discrete event simulation is applied to the research of operation process simulation and resource optimization in air cargo terminal.Based on the analysis of the specific function of the air cargo terminal and the inbound and outbound cargo handing process,the author applies Extendsim simulation software to build simulation model of the outbound cargo handing process of the air cargo terminal.Secondly,select the A cargo station as an empirical case,after operating the simulation model,with the queue features,resources utilization and cycle time of ground handling of goods to analyze the simulation output results,identify the bottleneck that affects the operational efficiency of the air cargo terminal.Then the target function is optimizing the resource allocation of the cargo station and shortening the ground processing cycle time of the outbound cargo,forklifts,assembly stations,assembly workers,and forklift trucks number as decision variable,building the optimization model to get the reasonable allocation of air cargo terminal resources.Finally,Combining simulation analysis and optimization results proposes the improvement measures for the target cargo terminal to reduce the waiting time of goods in the cargo terminal,improve the utilization efficiency of resources,reduce the idle waste of resources,and improve the core competitiveness of air cargo terminals.The paper applies the advanced simulation software to a study of process simulation of the air cargo terminal,according to the output of the simulation model to identify the bottleneck,evaluate the effectiveness of the existing resource allocation strategy,and then through the simulation evaluation of various resource allocation schemes proposes the suggestions for improving the allocation of cargo station resources,which provides a new idea for the study of the operation of air cargo terminals,and greatly promotes the reform of the air cargo system in management and operation. |
