With the gradual depletion of fossil fuels and the environmental problems caused by combustion of fuels,renewable energy,represented by wind power,has been developing rapidly.The unique operation characteristics of wind power,the power grid unsynchronized plan and construction,and lack of power transmission capacity among different regions have caused large-scale wind power obstructed.On the other hand,the adjustable large capacity energy-intensive load is trapped in the high cost of electricity and run below rated capacity.By taking effective technical means to encourage the participation of energy-intensive load to accommodate wind power,wind power and energy-intensive enterprises will reach a win-win situation,which brings huge economic and social benefits,such as energy-saving and emission reduction.According to the above situation,this paper starts from the interconnection situation of large-scale wind power and energy-intensive load.Based on statistical data,the large-scale wind power operation features and obstructed causes are studied.Therefore,it's practicable that energy-intensive load gets involved in accommodating obstructed wind power.Then,we summarize the operation characteristics of different energy-intensive loads,set up the mathematical model and come up with the control pattern of energy-intensive load participating in the accommodation of large-scale wind power.Based on the control pattern of energy-intensive load,day-ahead electric energy optimized model and intra-day electric power optimized model are established,and energy-intensive load control method based on cross-weight is proposed.Subsequently,the control strategy of energy-intensive load aimed at the accommodation of obstructed wind power is put forward.Finally,taking Hexi power grid in Gansu province as an example,simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the energy-intensive load control strategy to accommodate obstructed wind power.
