In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s power industry,various accidents of transmission line insulators are frequently affected by the environment.Most of these accidents are caused by the natural damage of transmission lines,snow and ice,earthquakes and floods.Therefore,it is very important to detect the protection of transmission lines and insulators to ensure the safe use of power systems.The traditional detection method is manual inspection line,according to the interval sub-tasks,relying on manual inspection line patrol situation.Timeliness and accuracy of line defect detection depend on the operational capabilities of the inspectors,the sense of responsibility and the performance of inspection by team managers.We can not avoid checking for accidents caused by deficiencies.At the same time,some transmission lines have been established in deep forests,wetlands and high mountains.Slow arrival of personnel,difficult and inefficient,impossible to regularly check and maintain.At present,the main method to replace manual inspection is to use unmanned aerial vehicles to inspect operations.It is more time-saving and labor-saving to save resources by using unmanned aerial vehicles technology to test transmission lines or insulators.The design of the electromagnetic wave detection system in this paper is widely used in the material or device of transmission line,insulation,heat insulation or sound insulation.Including the transceiver array,electromagnetic signals,signal processing.The system uses the magnetic field information around the power line and thermal effects to detect surface contamination,cracks,icing,snow and other defects in the material under test and can be used for power quality assessment.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)In-depth study of the basic principles of electromagnetic waves,and the electromagnetic wave technology used in the power transmission line testing.Design electromagnetic induction antenna device and array transceiver,and calculate the distance between each array element.(2)A filter conditioning circuit is used to eliminate the ambient noise and smooth the ladder-like signal output from the D / A converter.The high-speed sampling chain consists of a high-speed analog-to-digital converter AD9223 and an external reference circuit.The passive magnetic induction array uses a 10*10 matrix array and is composed of a resonant circuit and a sampling circuit of the electromagnetic induction coil of the strobe unit and the resonant sampling circuit.The collected electromagnetic induction signal is processed by a filter and conditioning circuit,The speed of the device is more than an order of magnitude higher than the measurement frequency.High-frequency sampling of them,and real-time transmission to the array scanning and acquisition controller.(3)Make detailed analysis on the hardware and software of the electromagnetic wave detection system for transmission line by MATLAB simulation software.(4)System performance verified the design of the test system and analyzed the experimental results.The actual test results show that the detection system designed in this paper can accurately detect the transmission lines within a certain range and basically achieve the expected design goals.
