The wheel-rail adhesion is the basic of the rail transport vehicles' traction and braking force,and the traction motor's control strategy(TMCS)is one of the important factors that affect the wheel-rail adhesion.This paper regard the mechanical transmission and drive system of a certain type electric locomotive as the research object,hope to find the specific links of TMCS which affect the wheel-rail adhesion,to prvide a reference for designing and improving AC drive electric traction system.In this paper,a dynamic model of the single wheel drive system(SWDS)is established,which is based on the analysis of the driving system and the traction force.transmission mechanism of a certain type of electric locomotive;through the analysis of the dynamic model.the mathematical model of the SWDS is obtained.and the mathematical model is the transfer function of the relationship between the output torque and the slip speed(adhesion criterion),and based on the analysis of transfer function,then obtained the relevant characteristics of the traction motor output torque is how to impact on wheel rail adhesion.In this paper,the FOC of traction motor and the DTC of traction motor were studied,find out the specific links that effect on the torque characteristics,and how to affect the torque;then,taking the output torque of the traction motor as the medium,the influence of the torque characteristics on the wheel-rail adhesion is analyzed.The effects of these two control strategies on the wheel-rail adhesion were analyzed.This paper also uses MATLAB/Simulink simulation software,Establish the simulation model of the effect of FOC on wheel-rail adhesion and the simulation model of the effect of DTC on wheel-rail adhesion,and design the simulation experiment;through the analysis of simulation results,obtained the consistent results with theoretical analysis.According to the results of theoretical analysis and simulation,the rotor magnetic field orientation and considering dead time of inverter modulation algorithm in the FOC and hysteresis width of hysteresis comparator in the DTC,will impact the wheel-rail adhesion.and based on this,relevant suggestions are put forward.
