With the increasing traffic volume of urban traffic in our country,road transportation system due to small transport volume,low speed.It has been unable to meet the needs of modern city transportation.So our country has made a strategic decision to speed up the construction of Urban Rail Transit,city rail transit has gradually become an important tool for national traffic travel.As the passengers on the subway performance requirements increase,metro manufacturing company on the subway car performance also have higher requirements,and it is developing higher performance to Metro vehicle.Bogie as one of the important components for the subway vehicle.The frame is an important part of the bogie and frame carries the body,it transmission wheel anisotropic force.So the performance of the frame determines the function of the bogie,it indirectly affect the ability of the vehicle.Firstly,the model that according to the frame of existing 3D models was done geometric clean-up and meshed the model by the HyperMesh software.It was formulated the loads and constraints by the "UIC615-4 bogie frame structure strength experiment".There was three aspects of research work in ANSYS softxware:the first frame static strength under different conditions.By the calculated structure stress distribution under the various conditions of extraordinary load,analyzing and evaluating the structure strength by the fourth strength theory;second aspects:the calculation and optimization based on operation simulation of load stress value and calculate the stress distribution in ANSYS.It was evaluated by Goodman fatigue limit diagram of frame fatigue;third aspects:modal analysis depended on calculating the modal natural frequency and vibration image by ANSYS software.It made us to get the inherent dynamic characteristics of frame.Finally,that is the optimization design by HyperMesh software,the optimum thickness of the frame plate is obtained under the strength requirement.Strength check of the optimized structure is carried out.We can know the stress distribution which structure was improved under the exceptional load,and the frame cost very low.
