Investigation And Analysis Of Traffic Flow In Urban Road Intersection

In recent years,urban traffic in China has developed rapidly,and the number of motor vehicles has increased year by year,and the construction speed of urban road traffic is relatively lagging.At present,most of the cities at signalized intersection traffic jams occur frequently.The capacity of signalized intersection problem is a big problem facing the city,through the investigation,the University City intersection of actual running state to find out the existing problems and take effective measures to solve the problem is the focus of this paper.This paper is based on the existing research results at home and abroad,through the investigation and analysis of University City Road intersection and T intersection in typical field of traffic parameters,intersection with the actual operation situation as the starting point,the design of the capacity of the intersection problem analysis,put forward reasonable measures for improvement,and provide a theoretical basis for reconstruction of city road upgrade.During the research process,several typical signalized intersections in the university road network were selected,and the actual operation state of the intersection of signalized intersection and T signalized intersection was investigated.This paper comprehensively expounds the related research work at home and abroad,summarizes the research contents at home and abroad,and puts forward the background and purpose of this study.Then the traffic flow parameters of signal intersection are analyzed,such as capacity,saturated flow rate,traffic volume,delay and so on.Then,the actual operation of the intersection is investigated.The survey combines the traffic volume,the saturated flow rate and the delay with the combination of manual and photography,so as to make the survey data more authentic.Finally,the service level of each intersection is determined,and the improvement measures and plans are put forward for the intersection with low service level.
