Foam concrete as a new type of insulation material,with light high strength,energy shock and excellent insulation properties,etc.,due to the low intensity,the current mainly as insulation materials used in the construction field,based on the status of foam concrete,mainly from foam concrete The thermal performance and mechanical properties of foam concrete were studied by the combination of indoor orthogonal test and numerical simulation.The main contents and achievements are as follows:(1)Through comparison of foam concrete and ordinary soil insulation performance test,that within 10h the temperature difference between the two at 10?or so.Through the Insulation experiment of thermal insulation properties of foam concrete,the factors such as dry weight,thickness and initial temperature are taken into account,and the temperature variation of each point of each level experiment was analyzed,and gets a good combination.(2)The compressive strength of the foamed concrete was tested to obtain the relationship between the dry weight and the compressive strength of the foamed concrete.From the experimental results,it was found that the compressive strength stability was stable with the increase of the dry weight of the foamed concrete in the decline,600kg/m~3 foam concrete cube compressive strength can reach 4MPa or so,to meet the subgrade material strength requirements.(4)The water absorption of foam concrete with different dry weight was studied by the experiment of water absorption of foamed concrete.From the test results,the water absorption of foam concrete decreased with the increase of dry weight of foam concrete.The water absorption of 600 kg/m~3 was only 18.5%,confirmed that its internal pores for the closed-cell structure.(3)The thermal experiment of foam concrete and ANSYS were compared and analyzed.The thermodynamic parameters of foam concrete were determined.The temperature field of the embankment with or without foamed concrete insulation board was calculated by ANSYS.The comparison of temperature field at 30 days showed that there is insulation board and no insulation board subgrade in the roadbed at the center of the temperature difference of about 2?,and in the slope foot position temperature difference between about 4?.
