A large number of studies have found that the waste tire rubber powder as an important modifier,can significantly improve the substrate asphalt high and low temperature performance,can make rubber powder modified asphalt pavement does not soften in summer high temperature,and does not rupture in cold winter,this way can expand the use of asphalt.At the same time,rubber powder is an environmentally friendly green material,Its source is more abundant and can be reused,which fully solve the waste rubber tire pollution treatment problems,the price of waste powder is also cheaper,can reduce the cost of paving the road,is an economical and practical way.domestic and foreign rubber modified asphalt has been a lot of research,rubber modified asphalt has been widely used in road construction.In this paper,we first studied the preparation process of rubber powder modified asphalt and found that it was necessary to treat rubber powder with sodium hydroxide solution before making the modified powder.This could make the surface of rubber powder rough and improve its adhesion with asphalt;After the preparation,the conventional performance tests of different kinds of rubber modified asphalt were carried out,including the penetration,softening point,ductility and storage stability.The results showed that when the content of powder was 20%asphalt as a whole has a good high and low temperature performance and storage stability.The high temperature rheological properties of modified asphalt were studied by dynamic shear rheological test(DSR),including frequency scanning,temperature scanning and repeated creep;At the same time,the low temperature bending beam rheological test(BBR)was used to evaluate the low temperature rheological properties.The results showed that when the content of rubber powder was 20%,the high and low temperature rheological properties of the modified powder were the most excellent.Finally,relying on Taiwan-high-speed Yu Lu sector to Fanxian section of construction projects,the design of AR-AC-13,SBS-AC-13 and matrix asphalt AC-13 were compared and analyzed by the combination design of the tainte powder asphalt mixture pavement.AR-AC-13 were better than that of the other two kinds of mixed materials in the low temperature crack resistance and water stability,the high temperature stability of AR-AC-13 is slightly worse than that of SBS-AC-13,but still significantly better than matrix asphalt AC-13.After the completion of the road construction,the quality of the pavement is measured,including the tectonic depth,the pavement friction coefficient and the water seepage coefficient.The test results show that these control indexes can meet the requirements of the specification.
