The highway construction industry is a labor-intensive industry.With the continuous development of the construction market and the increasing level of production technology,there is a steady increase in the demand of the industry practitioners,which leads to a substantial increase in the market labor unit price.But the adjustment of manual budget unit price in highway construction industry is seriously lagging behind the market changes in labor unit price.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to construct a model that can be used to adjust the manual budget unit price of highway engineering dynamically in a timely and reasonable manner and provide a reference for the government departments to formulate manual budget unit price.The main research contents of the paper are as follows.For a start,the factors influencing the manual budget unit price of highway engineering were identified and screened.According to the principle of influencing factor recognition,17 influencing factors of manual budget unit price of highway engineering were identified through literature research method,analysis method and expert interview method.Then,9 more important influencing factors were selected through frequency statistics method,and an in-depth analysis of the relationship between the screened influencing factors and manual budget unit price of highway engineering was carried out.Secondly,the model construction of manual budget unit price of highway engineering based on influencing factor is carried out.After the applicability analysis of the principal component regression model and the introduction of modeling process,according to the screened influencing factors,this paper uses the relevant data of Hunan Province from 1996 to 2013,and uses SPSS statistical software to extract principal component factors through the principal component analysis,and then the principal component factor is analyzed through multiple linear regression method,then the calculation model of labor unit price of highway engineering based on principal component regression model is established.Finally,this paper validates and analyzes the manual budget unit price model of highway engineering.The actual project data of Hubei,Jiangxi and Henan provinces with similar construction environment in Hunan are selected to do empirical study.The empirical results show that the calculation model proposed in this paper has small price error compared with the actual price that the government announces,and it can calculate the manual budget unit price highway engineering in a simple,effective and timely way,thus achieving dynamic adjustment of manual budget unit price of highway engineering.
