The investment estimation,which is one of the important basis of the construction project,is not only a proof of the feasibility of the stage,but also the foundation of the whole process management at the core of the project cost.Especially for the EPC project,which adopts the fixed total price contract,because of its large scale of engineering and complex building function requirements,the investment estimate not only meets the needs of the construction owner to realize the cost control,but also will be the basis of bidding and guide the bidding of the general contractor.The accurate and reasonable investment estimation is the premise of the EPC project construction owner to realize the correct decision,and the basis for the total contractor to make the profit.It is the starting point of the whole process management of the project cost.Based on the investment estimation of EPC construction project from the perspective of cost practitioners,this paper combs and reviews the related literature of investment estimation,and realizes the scientific determination of the project cost in the decision stage of EPC project by using entropy weight method,grey correlation method and fuzzy clustering method.Firstly,the composition and characteristics of EPC project cost are analyzed,the domestic and foreign investment estimation methods and main problems are studied and compared.The entropy weight method and grey relational fuzzy clustering method are introduced.Secondly,based on the feasibility study report and the literature,we construct the characteristic factor analysis system of investment estimation based on the project characteristics and form the final feature factor set based on the grey correlation analysis on the premise of meeting the feasibility of the time,technology and function.Thirdly,the entropy weight grey relational fuzzy clustering method is used to construct the single party based on the entropy weight grey relational fuzzy clustering method.The EPC project investment estimation model of the construction and installation engineering fee is not only more simple and easy to operate,but also overcomes the difficulties similar to the insufficient data of the built projects.According to the requirements of different precision,the corresponding threshold value can be selected to realize dynamic clustering analysis.Finally,taking a comprehensive building project as an example,the feasibility and applicability of the above investment estimation method are verified.The innovation of this paper is as follows: firstly,based on the composition of the cost,the EPC project characteristic factor set is built on the basis of the basic engineering data that can be obtained at the decision stage.Secondly,based on the cost of the per square meter,the entropy weight grey relational fuzzy clustering estimation model is constructed.
