Hydraulic system is a vitally important power energy system on the military aircraft which is mainly used for braking of airplane wheel,landing gear,air brake,(leading edge)flap,take-up and release of engine adjustable nozzle,realization of front wheel turning and is the core system on the aircraft involving safety.As core component of hydraulic power system,aircraft hydraulic pump has a vital position in terms of ensuring flight and training safety.With aircraft hydraulic pump developing to be of high pressure,high power and long life,its life requirement become higher and higher and development risk becomes bigger and bigger.At each major node of development,increase in hydraulic pump lifetime needs to be evaluated,requirements of high pressure,high power and long life lead to increase in difficulty of hydraulic pump life test,obvious increase in expenses and period obviously prolonged and existing life test method is hard to meet requirements of development and production tasks of hydraulic pump.To lower development risks of hydraulic pump,save development cost and accelerate development process,it’s necessary to improve hydraulic pump life test method.This paper conducts statistics of failure mode concerning aviation hydraulic pump of active aircraft,analyzes failure mechanism based on failure mode and taking ZB-34 M hydraulic pump as typical sample,studies the solution,proposes reliability improvement scheme on the basis of typical fault of hydraulic pump and performs reliability calculation for improved hydraulic pump and then attempts to confirm accelerated factor of accelerated life test for hydraulic pump by contrastive analysis on routine test and accelerated life test so as to establish one practical accelerated lifetime testing method for hydraulic pump as well as accumulate data and experience for effectively shortening test time and providing entire life and overhaul interval of hydraulic pump.
