In the refrigeration,petrochemical,metallurgy and gas transportation industries,the compressor is an important equipment in its entire work chain.The reciprocating compressor has its own operating characteristics:the intermittent suction and exhaust gases cause the air flow in the piping system to pulsate.Can not be completely eliminated,a serious gas flow caused by a series of pipeline vibration and other hazards,and it is the main reason for pipeline vibration,seriously affecting the normal operation of the reciprocating compressor.Adding orifice plates before and after the large container is an effective and simple method to reduce the gas flow pulsation in the pipeline.It has been widely used in industrial production and has achieved good results.However,in long-distance pipelines,the vibration of the pipeline caused by the pulsation of the gas flow will also occur.In this paper,we study the effect of adding an orifice plate on the pipeline to reduce the pulsation of the gas flow.Centrifugal compressors often fail due to failure rather than planned shutdown.This paper presents a dynamic simulation of common faults in centrifugal compressors.So this article is divided into two parts.The first part is to study the effect of orifices on the pulsation of gas flow.Based on the plane wave theory,the mechanism of orifice mitigation in the pipeline is explained,and the matrix of gas flow pulsation in various pipeline components is deduced.Using CFX software for fluid dynamics simulation,the effect of adding an orifice plate on the turbulence of the gas flow in the pipeline system was studied,and two important parameters of the aperture ratio and orifice position of the orifice plate were selected as the research object,and the hole was studied.The effect of the plate on the pulsation of the gas flow in the pipe system under different aperture ratios was studied.The influence of the aperture ratio of the plate and the position of the plate on the pulsation of the gas flow in the pipe system was also comprehensively studied.The research results show that,according to the conditions before and after the pipeline,combined with the pressure drop loss,the orifice with a small aperture ratio is selected and installed at a position far away from the constant pressure end,and the best suppression effect can be achieved.For the reciprocating compressor orifice plate to reduce the air flow pulsation,reduce the vibration of the pipe to provide a reference value.The theoretical results of the study orifice plate were applied to actual engineering examples,and the appropriate aperture ratio and orifice position were selected in combination with airflow pulsation analysis.Finally,the air flow pulsation in the pipeline system was successfully weakened and the vibration of the pipeline was controlled within the allowable range.The purpose of vibration reduction was achieved.The second part simulates common failures of centrifugal compressors.The mechanism and characteristics of these faults are introduced,and the software is used for simulation demonstration to realize the visual simulation of the fault process for the factory staff to learn training and improve work efficiency.
