Study On The Landscape Design Of Longfeng River Axis In Bozhou City Based On Urban And Rural Background

In the past 40 years of Chinese reform and opening up,China mainly focused on the economy development in rural areas.While the economy is recovered continuously,the spiritual culture construction is ignored.In the process of transition from rural areas to cities,an underdeveloped city type called “new type city” has emerged,which not only has the rudiment of cities but also preserves the historical and cultural characteristics of villages.Therefore,in the landscape development process of a new type city,landscape axis is a symbolic linear space that enables various functions of the city to be organically connected and embodies characteristics of the area and the dynamic development process,which is the best way to objectively present and reflect the development status of regional spatial structure and to perfect new type city landscape system to realize the transition between urban and rural areas.In the essay,the detail study is made on the urban axis planning,especially on the special cities taking the river course as the city axis.Firstly,the literature study is made to know about the study background and the development situations at home and abroad.The theories and methods about the city axis planning is summarized based on the study of excellent cases at home and abroad.The related planning theories include the different demands and influences of urban and rural backgrounds on the axis,the characteristics and rules of the axis.The planning methods mainly include the classification of urban axis,the planning design methods and contents.After knowing about the planning methods,the study is made about the meaning of introducing the water element into the city axis design and about the related application models so as to complete the actual project planning.At last,the axis landscape design in Longfeng Xin He(Haowu Street-Haoshao Road),Bozhou City,Anhui Province is taking as the sample to try the application of the related theories.The detail producing process of the landscape axis is described under the rural and urban background.In the essay,the overall thoughts,strategies that guides the landscape design,the related details,elements and actions are put forward under the background of how to establish the urban central axis that have local characteristics.How to establish the central axis with obvious local characteristics is the major task to represent a new-type city's culture connotation,history background and external aesthetic characteristics.The construction of the central axis is the important method to improve the city competition.To satisfy the urban citizen's ecological civilization demands of “appreciating mountains,rivers and remembering the past times”,the city axis shall coordinate with the city's natural scenery,extract and complete the local characters and establish the complete city structure.Therefore,the development process from the rural to the urban shall be combined with the natural ecology situation so as to realize the harmony between human beings and the nature.The aim of this planning is to effectively apply the planning theories into practice and to provide guidance for the future planning.
