The Application Research Of Western Hunan Tujia Decoration Patterns In The Guai Yaomei Museum Space Design

The decorative patterns of the Tujia in western Hunan is one of the important intangible heritages in China,and is an important part of Chinese folk art.Tujia decoration patterns' craftsmanship is China's most ancient damask,which has distinctive color and unique style,the characteristics of its pattern design contains the nationality's cultural background.The patterns enjoy "unlettered material culture epic" reputation in China,which has high art research value in the history of national culture.This paper mainly use the method of literature reading and on-the-spot investigation,deliberately making a studying of Western Hunan area local conditions and customs,and traditional culture,analyzing the basic theme of the plants patterns,animal patterns,Tujia basic household items patterns,astronomical patterns and patterns of the geometric types,using the technique of directly reference and deformation induced to extract decoration pattern elements.Extracted elements follow the principle of harmonious unification of decoration style,scientific color collocation and connotation of a certain cultural etc.At the same time,we concrete the Tujia decoration patterns into the Guai Yao Mei Tujia brocade museum design from the aspects of museum building facade design,space design,material selection etc,to fully demonstrate the museum's unique national artistic value and historical and cultural value.The research has the following conclusions:By applying national symbol element to interior design,we can explore the ancient Western Hunan Tujia nationality traditional culture element.Not only we can make adornment design,but also we can find new breakthrough in the interior design field and carry forward Western Hunan Tujia traditional culture.By studying the design of Tujia brocade museum,we have been proved the feasibility and scientific of the theory.By fusing modern design elements and studying the relations between the elements and space,we can show a visual aesthetic feast to the public of the national culture and space design combination art.
