Electromagnetic pump can be used as a source of high pressure,using gas and liquid as the working medium to realize the functions of transportation,transmission and control.It is widely applied in many fields such as vehicle,aerospace and so on.It is of great theoretical significance and engineering application value to research and develop a new type of electromagnetic pump and to improve the performance of the electromagnetic pump.In this paper,a new type of electronic controlled electromagnetic pump is studied.The electromagnetic pump is a reciprocating diaphragm pump with symmetrical arrangement.The electromagnetic pump is directly driven by a self-developed double acting pulsed electromagnet.The working frequency is expected to reach 100Hz.The real-time operation of the electric frequency can make the traffic flow regulated quickly and accurately from zero to maximum.The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:(1)The structure design and research of electronic controlled electromagnetic pump have been completed in this part.A new type of electromagnetic pump is designed with a double acting pulse electromagnet as a power source.The working principle of the electromagnetic pump system is studied,the 3D model of the electromagnetic pump is established and the corresponding engineering drawings are output.(2)The establishment of the numerical simulation model for the flow of the electromagnetic pump is completed.According to the distribution characteristics of the pump’s structure and internal flow field,a spatial parameterization model is constructed in GAMBIT.According to the deformation movement of the rubber diaphragm and the movement state of the inlet and outlet one-way valve spool,the corresponding motion rule program is written by using the UDF file.(3)The transient simulation analysis and study of electromagnetic pump is completed.The numerical simulation of electromagnetic pump flow filed is studied by FLUENT.On the basis of transient numerical simulation,the pressure field and velocity field distribution in pump chamber,the relationship between inlet and outlet valve movement rule and pump flow field are analyzed,and the influence of inlet and outlet check valve motion characteristics on pump performance is also analyzed.(4)In order to verify the feasibility of the design scheme and the correctness of the corresponding simulation model,the principle sample is developed and the related test is eanried out.Firstly,the prototype of the electric control electromagnetic pump is processed and assembled,and the design of the control system is completed.Then,the corresponding test platform of the pump flow characteristics is constructed.The flow characteristics of the electronically controlled electromagnetic pump samples under different frequencies were tested,and the stability of the pump during the working process and the accuracy of the flow simulation model were verified.(5)The optimal design of check valve is studied.According to the performance of the check valve on the pump performance,the design of the import floating valve,the export of floating valve,outlet reed valve check valve.By varying the parameters of the way to change the valve structure,the influence rule of the check valve parameters on the pump performance is analyzed by orthogonal test design and flow niumerical simulation,and the structural parameters of the optimized check valve are deteramined.Therefore,the above studies lay a good foundation for the improvement of the performance of the electronically controlled electromagnetic pump and the subsequent research.
