Geogrid reinforced soil retaining wall has good long-term stability,it meets the basic requirements of railway transportation,meanwhile,the geogrid reinforced soil retaining wall also has the advantages of fast construction,small space required,strong deformability to adapt to the foundation,it is very suitable for the actual situation of the railroad bed in our country,therefore the reinforced soil retaining wall becomes the focus of the research gradually.In this thesis,first the author made a brief introduction of the reinforced soil retaining wall from three aspects: theory,practice and numerical simulation.Then the thesis made exploration for the design method of reinforced soil retaining wall,and the calculation of horizontal and vertical displacement of reinforced soil retaining wall is analyzed in detail.At the theoretical foundations,this thesis relies on the test section of the rigid face reinforced soil retaining wall in the newly-built Dongjiakou Port Railway Project in Qingdao to carry out the field test.The data of horizontal earth pressure,vertical earth pressure and grid deformation are monitored by embeded earth pressure cell,flexible displacement meter,etc.The structural behavior of rigid face reinforced earth retaining wall in actual filling process is analyzed in terms of vertical soil pressure of basement,horizontal earth pressure,grid strain rate and potential rupture surface of reinforced earth retaining wall,etc.The structural behavior change regulation of rigid face reinforced earth retaining wall in construction period is obtained.In this thesis,the filling process of the test section is numerically simulated by finite element method,the structural behavior of rigid face reinforced soil retaining wall is further analyzed by means of theory,simulation and field test.In addition,this thesis explored the sensibility of material parameter in rigid face reinforced soil retaining wall to the deformation of retaining wall by changing the simulation parameters of the material.The results show that the horizontal displacement and vertical settlement of rigid face reinforced soil retaining wall can be effectively reduced if reasonable design is made in the aspects of reinforcement spacing,filler modulus and reinforcement property.
