The definition of the traditional “No National Rights Reaches Counties” is that residents live in where their clan lives with the help of folk order and folk power,thus forming the villages whose centers are clans and every village is a natural “Autonomous Body”.There are lots of reserved large houses in the southeastern areas of Hubei,which are one of the “Small Autonomous Body” in these villages.A road of central rooms with multientrance exist in the middle of these large houses,among them,Ancestor Worship Tablets are set in the final central room.Based on the field survey and reference documents in Southeastern of Hubei,and combined with the research theories and results of rural society history,it analyzes the characteristics of central rooms' space for folk dwelling of big houses in Ming and Qing Dynasty,the behaviors and orders of daily activities in central rooms and ritual activities,and the influence of the central houses on the expansion of the big houses living space,and then it reveals the relationship between central rooms for folk dwelling of big houses and folk order in Southeast of Hubei.It also excavates the value of the space heritage of central rooms' space.This passage can be divided into 4 parts:1.To analyze the general characteristics of central houses' space of traditional folk dwelling in our country,and to lay a foundation for the later excavation of the features of main rooms' space of folk house for folk dwelling of big houses in the Southeast of Hubei.Central room locate in the center of traditional dwellings,which is the core of the ethical order.2.General situation of big houses and folk order: living in where their clan lives and houses with ancestral halls are the classical features of folk dwelling for big houses in Southeast of Hubei.Based on the site visiting and mapping of the big houses in the Southeast area of Hubei,to explore and analyze the central rooms' space for folk dwelling of big houses in Southeast of Hubei.The big houses are organized by the way of parallel and series of central houses sequence space,while the central houses in different positions have different morphological characteristics.The ancestral hall is different from the common central rooms,which is the pure sacrifice space in the big houses.Combined with the research theories and results of rural society history in Southeast area of Hubei in Ming and Qing Dynasty,the formation of the folk order in Southeast area of Hubei in Ming or Qing Dynasty are revealed,thus laying the foundation for further empirical research.3.The behaviors and orders of central rooms' space for folk dwelling of big houses in Southeast area of Hubei: exploring the behaviors and orders of central rooms' space for folk dwelling of big houses from the aspects of daily life and ritual.It is found by comparison that the boundary and scale of the ancestral hall are obviously different from that of other houses.This difference is consistent with the attributes of space,and the ancestral hall is the core of spiritual space while the core of physical space lies in other room space.The oriental of human beings and streamline order reflect the moral superiority and humble in the family.Through studying the genealogy and clan genealogy and other folk literatures,the relationship between ancestral worship and the migration and development of the immigrant families is sorted out,and the ancestor worship is the transitional form of the immigrant family at home from the time of custom.Through a lot of ground tracking and observation,we found that the ancestor's hall as the core of the ritual activities include family sacrificial ritual and the clan sacrifice ceremony,family sacrificial ritual is the sequence space which is extended from the ancestor's hall to the main entrance of gate,the order of the clan sacrifice ceremony is consistent with the kinship between big-house.One ancestral hall contains two sacrificial levels of "the total ancestral hall,and the family ancestral hall",which reflects the controlling flexibility of the clan organization to the social regulation of the rural society,and the essence of ritual activities is to practice the folk order.4.The limitations for the expansion of big houses: The research methods of Field Research and Oral History are used to reveal the expansion process of typical big houses.The expansion ways of big-house can be divided into derivation and fission.Exploring and analyzing the influence of central houses' space on the expansion pattern of big-house and the shape of the new buildings.With the continuous developments of era and folk orders,the study on the space features of eastern-southern-Hubei big-house central rooms under the influence of folk order can not only not only excavate the space heritage values of traditional folk dwellings but also provide ideas for revitalization and conservation of traditional folk dwellings.
