| Several different processes are used during the machining of landing gear outer cylinder,including turn-milling,plane-milling and cavity-milling,and its material has high strength and high hardness.This easily causes excessive cutting load and flutter when machining this material.In order to provide a guidence for cutting paremeters selection,this study develops a cutting dynamics simulation software module based on the cutting force and the boundary of the stability during the machining process in UG 9.0 and visual studio 2012 platform.Software module design and key technology study.The overall structure,the operation interface and the overall operation flow of the software modules are designed basd on the analysis of software requirements.Several common technologies are used in the software modules,including setting environment variables,developing Block UI Styler design tools,developing simulation display interface,developing coefficient library module,generating tool path,obtaining the axial and radial depths of cut,etc.Development and verification of cutting force simulation software module.For the features such as plane,cavity,and other feature which are machined by using invariant tool axis,the cutting force prediction software modules of single point and continuous tool path are established based on the milling force prediction model in UG CAM environment.For the features of cylindrical surface,the prediction software module was developed based on the orthogonal cutting force prediction model.An experimental scheme was desinged to verify the cutting force software modules.Development and verification of stability simulation software module.In order to select feasible processing parameters,based on the established stability model and orthogonal turn-milling stability model,stability prediction software modules are developed in UG CAM environment.Lobe of stability is drawed in the module.An experimental scheme was desinged to verify the stability software modules.In addition,a rapid prediction software module for stability simulation are developed by using the optimized algorithm.Analyze and optimize processing parameters by using the Software modules.For the eccentric cavity and cylindrical surface features of the landing gear outer cylinder,the cutting force simulation software module is used to predict the cutting forces under different processing parameters.The influences of various processing parameters on cutting force are analyzed,and the resulsts can be used to select machining parameters.In addition,the developed stability prediction module is used to predict the machining stabilities and is used to draw the lobe of the eccentric cavity and cylindrical surface. |
