Cabin arrangement design is an important part of ship design.the results of cabin arrangement design directly affect the usability,safety and manufacturability of ship.In the process of design,because the layout knowledge involves a wide range,and mostly scatters in the design specification and design manual,so department personnel often need to through repeated communication and modification to set a reasonable arrangement scheme,which not only makes the cabin layout workload is heavy,but also greatly reduces the work efficiency.Although the layout task is completed gradually in a long time,the most important reasoning link in the whole design process is lack of visual support,leaving only scattered drawings,which can not provide effective basis for the next similar cabin layout design,and cabin layout design is a complex N-P layout problem,which can not be directly described by numerical modeling.Therefore,collecting these scattered layout knowledge for sharing and inheritance is the fundamental path to solve the layout problem.The purpose of this paper is to find a simple,practical,Therefore,how to make the computer to complete the complex cabin layout is the specific research direction in the field of cabin layout design.However,in order for a computer to " learn" to arrange a cabin,it must firstly reserve sufficient knowledge of relevant arrangements,and then infer more useful knowledge based on the semantic relationship of these knowledge,so as to provide designers with auxiliary decision-making and save time.This paper mainly does the following work:(1)On the basis of ontology research,a ship cabin layout design ontology model for semantic reasoning application is proposed.(2)The factors that need to be considered in the domain ontology construction of ship cabin layout are analyzed,and the domain ontology is built by using ontology modeling software protégé.the ontology can provide the basis for the reasoning activities in the subsequent design process,and realize the design knowledge sharing,and provide theoretical basis and technical support for that research of ship cabin arrangement design method and system development.(3)Based on the analysis of the cabin layout characteristics of similar ship types,the method of rib matrix transformation is given,and the topological relationship between ship cabins is analyzed from the angle of geometric position relationship.(4)Based on SQL server 2008 database,ship cabin layout design software will be realized.At the same time,in order to avoid dependence on professional software,CATIA three-dimensional software will be redeveloped to make the cabin layout more automatic.Finally,an application example of semantic retrieval and reasoning for the cabin arrangement of a 55-meter fishery administration vessel is given to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the ontology model and the software implemented in this paper.
