Exchanging and sharing information in four dimensions between human beings and things are important work in advanced manufacturing.Customer requirements(CRs)are the key bridge to connect human being and things in product design process.But their fuzziness and variety may lead product design to some deviations from original design intention.Customer semantics is a considerable communication tunnel and method between humans and Things,which is considered to be the deep connection between customer intention and product design.Using customer semantics can improve the efficiency of design iteration and customer satisfaction.Also it could accelerate the improvement of innovation capabilities in manufacturing.Prototype of product shape is a key section in product design process.It is a fully and prime presentation of shape design requirements from customers.Utilizing prototype of product shape rationally will improve the product design iteration,reduce the design investment,and enhance the usability of product design.Prototype design of product shape driven by customer semantic has been researched systematically in this paper.Based on the process and features of prototype design of product shape,a design method is given,which is driven by customers semantics and using design elements of shape.Key technologies of this method are well researched in this paper.The main research contents in thesis include:(1)obtainment of CRs and identification of customers semantics oriented to prototype design of product shape;(2)customers semantics driven product shape construction;(3)customers semantics driven prototype of product shape;(4)key technologies in customers' semantics driven prototype design of product shape.A method that use customers semantics connect CRs and product features is given in this thesis to reduce effects of fuzziness and variety of CRs in product shape design processe.Based on latest research of requirements theory and product design theory,a muti-layer CRs model is given oriented to prototype design of product shape.Various CRs are widely distributed in prototype design process of product shape.Direct and indirect methods to obtain CRs and analysis data are used to describe related information.Based on CRs information and prototype design of product shape,customers semantics are defined their properties by CRs and product instances.Customer requirements ontology is built to describe concepts,properties,relationship in customers' requirements aspect oriented to prototype design of product shape.A design case is presented to verify the method of obtain of customers semantics and the construction of customers requirements.Base on product shape design methods,product lifecyle,product design knowledge flow,product shape construction is analyze to enhance the reuse of product shape elements.Design Element(DE)and Design Element of Shape(DEs)are described for the elements in product.A structure model of product shape is given oriented to features of prototype design of product shape.This thesis introduced prototype model of product shape after analyzing product shape prototype.After presenting key technology route,this thesis introduces a information model of product shape construction,combining the relationship between product shape structure and DEs with aspect knowledge and information generated in design processe.A digital model of DEs is given based on the shape identifying and parametric modeling.And its data is integrated with information model generated before.A design case about ATV is presented to verify the method of obtain DEs and related information.Comparing to other reuse model,DEs model emphasizes the relationship between customers and product shape.It could enhance abilities of the reuse and innovation of product shape design.Principles and functions of prototype design of product shape are studied in prduct design process and product design knowledge flow.A prototype design model of product shape based on DEs is given in this thesis based on present product shape design methods,features of prototype of product shape and DEs.The prototype design model is defined with concepts,properties and relationship in a prototype design ontology of produt shape.After giving CRs obtain and customers' semantic recognition,product shape construction driven by customers semantic,prototype of product shape driven by customers' semantics,a technology route of prototype design method of product shape driven by customers' semantics is presented to implement the method of prototype deployment of product shape and prototype design optimization of product shape.Based on prototype deign ontology of product shape,design schemes can be reasoning oriented to customers semantics,deign constraints and concpets relationship.Using modified artificial fish algorithm oriented to prototype design of product shape,this thesis implements the intellectual deployment of basic design schedules driven by customers' semantics during the integral process from customers' semantics to prototype design of product shape.A design case of ATV is present to verify the method.Schemes show prototype design method of product shape driven by customer semantic is more efficient in extend deign thinkings and efficience,and accelerates the product shape deign iteration and innovation.The theory and method present in this thesis has been applied into practice projects and shows positive effections.
