Research On The Development Strategy Of Snow Tourism City Under The Background Of Winter Olympics

The 24 th Winter Olympic Games will be held in Beijing and Zhangjiakou from 4thFebruary,2022 to 20 th February,2022.Under the impetus of the Winter Olympics,the construction of ice and snow tourism cities in China began to develop in an all-round way.At the national and local levels,relevant policies have been introduced to promote the development of the ice and snow industry.The tourism industry in ice and snow tourism cities has developed rapidly.It has become a rapidly rising type of development in China’s tourism.However,due to the short construction time,lack of experience,inadequate consideration of urban construction,and unbalanced development of four-season tourism,it is urgently needed to provide guidance for the construction of snow tourism cities.In this paper,through the study and comparative analysis of the cases of foreign snow tourism cities,the key points for the construction and development of excellent snow tourism cities are proposed.It is also one of the main purposes of this article to provide assistance for the construction and development of the future ice tourism cities in China.This article is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background of the dissertation.The purpose and significance of the study are clarified.Through the combing of research content,research methods,and technical routes,a clear research idea has been formed.The second chapter defines the concepts of Winter Olympic Games,snow tourism,snow industry and snow tourism city.And summed up the development of China’s snow industry and snow tourism cities,and collated the relevant theoretical research on urban construction and snow tourism city construction under the background of Olympics at home and abroad,and laid a foundation for the study.The third chapter selects two snow tourist cities that have been successful abroad and have experience in hosting the Winter Olympic Games.Briefly explain the construction of these snow tourism cities.Focusing on the analysis of the successful construction strategies of the two snow tourism cities,a comparative analysis was made to summarize the elements needed to build a successful snow tourism city in the context of the Winter Olympics.The fourth chapter begins to enter the main part of this article.This chapter takes Chongli as an example to examine the construction situation of China’s snow tourism cities in the context of the Winter Olympics,and summarizes the advantages and existing problems in the construction and development of Chongli.The fifth chapter puts forward Chongli’s sustainable development planning strategy featuring snow competitions: In the aspect of terrain,reasonable planning of land use in the main urban area.In terms of functionality,optimize public service deployment.In terms of markets,build a sustainable four-season tourism system.The sixth chapter puts forward suggestions on the construction and development of snow tourism cities in China from the perspectives of land use planning,industrial development and urban management.The seventh chapter elaborates the conclusions and deficiencies of this paper,and at the same time,it has a good outlook for the development of snow tourism cities.
