With the rapid development of cities and the rapid growth of demand for urban development land in mountainous cities, special terrain such as valleys and slopes has been included in the scope of urban construction. The mountainous area is complex, sensitive and resource-rich,which is both a challenge and an opportunity for the construction of mountainous cities. The gully terrain has a unique niche, and its development status, morphological characteristics, and ecological environment are different in different regions. The unique concave space attribute of the valley valley is beneficial to the urban landscape, but at the same time its special ecological process will restrict the development of the city.Once unreasonable development will have a negative impact, and even induce natural disasters. How to protect and rationally use these areas in the future urban development and construction has become an important issue. Therefore,it is very important to construct a thinking framework from ecological analysis to planning strategy response from the ecological process of the valley itself.Based on the above background, through reviewing the literature, theoretical works and dissertations related to the concept research related to valleys and valleys, the paper studies the theoretical research and practical research progress of the valley topography at home and abroad, and analyzes the focus on urban construction to adapt to the terrain of the valley. The research focuses on specific perspectives such as parks, traditional dwellings, drainage strategies, etc.,and lacks research on the ecological characteristics and ecological processes of the valley itself. Therefore, this paper selects the valleys of the southwestern mountainous cities as the research object, combined with the field research, starting from the study of the concept and ecological characteristics of the valleys, starting from the most essential reasons and developmental processes of the geomorphological valleys, and more on the valleys.A comprehensive three-dimensional understanding;then through the selection of key factors to comprehensively expound the ecological characteristics of the valley, and have a further understanding of its ecological process;then the paper according to the evaluation-impact-classification of ideas, the previous ecological analysis Based on the analysis, the ecological characteristics of the mountainous cities in southwest China are analyzed and evaluated. The relationship between the valley topography and the urban construction is divided into the prevention, conservation and utilization types of the southwest mountainous urban ditch, and then the utilization type of ditch is proposed. From macroscopic to microscopic planning principles and planning strategies, and from the four elements of land use, landscape system, spatial layout and traffic organization, the planning strategies for different segments of the valley in the urban spatial mode, horizontal and vertical direction of the utilization valley are carried out.Explore.Finally,the article takes the stable period gully in Beiquan Village,Jinyun Mountain Area,Beibei District,Chongqing as an example, and divides the valley into the ditch section, the middle section of the ditch, and the head section of the ditch, applying the planning strategy analysis method based on the ecological process, and targeting the site of the middle section of the ditch.Retrofit design. The main research contents of this paper mainly include the following three parts:The first part is about the ecological cognition of the valley. From the perspective of geomorphology, the morphological characteristics, formation process and classification from the size, development stage and formation site of the valley are defined. With reference to the control factors of gully development, six important factors, such as climate, soil and rock properties, hydrology, topography, vegetation, and land use, which are important in the development of gully land, are selected and elaborated and analyzed separately. On this basis,The ecological processes resulting from the interaction of ecological factors, including wind erosion, water erosion, and the role of animals and plants, are analyzed in detail to facilitate the follow-up study. The second part is based on the previous ecological analysis to explore the relationship between the ecological process of urban valleys and urban construction in the southwestern mountainous areas. The southwestern mountainous environment is complex and fragile, the numerous terrains of the valley are broken, the local climate difference is huge, and the incidence of geological disasters is high. The sensitivity and land suitability of different development states and characterized valleys are evaluated and graded;when the valleys are involved When the city is built, its topography and ecological processes due to special terrain have a great impact on various aspects of urban construction, including the favorable and adverse effects of terrain on urban construction, the constraints of ecological factors on urban construction, and the ecological processes on human settlements.According to the influence degree and development intensity, the southwest mountain urban ditch valley is divided into prevention ditch, conservation ditch and utilization ditch, and guided separately: prevention type-ditch drainage strategy, conservation type-ditch green space Development and utilization of gullies – the development of gully towns;this part is based on the logic of the classification of evaluations – impacts. The third part is the utilization strategy for the utilization type valley.First of all,the principle of planning from the macro to the micro is proposed in the landscape pattern-urban design-spatial layout.According to the different location relationship and utilization intensity of urban use and construction land, the basic spatial pattern of urban construction in the valley area is proposed on the urban scale, which is divided into belt development, beaded development and group development;Under the special terrain of the valley, the ecological characteristics and ecological processes at different development stages and different parts are quite different. On the site scale,it is proposed according to the horizontal direction(ditch, ditch, and ditch head)and vertical direction(ditch bottom).Sections of gully slopes and gullies;then,on different urban development models and gully sites, four aspects of land use, landscape system, spatial layout and traffic organization for ecological processes in different valleys are proposed.Different planning and utilization strategies. In summary, the focus of this paper is on the analysis of ecological processes-the transformation of ideas in planning strategy research.Through the exploration of ecological related theories and ecological adaptation methods, the exploration of mountainous special terrain urban construction and terrain from the perspective of planning and The mutual adaptation of ecological processes aims to construct a suitable thinking model for ecological and planning transformation, and to improve the planning and utilization strategy system for supplementing the special terrain of southwestern mountains. The gully zone usually has a hindrance to urban land use,but as the land use of mountainous cities expands, many gully sections are included in urban construction. This paper hopes to adapt to the ecological process analysis perspective to explore more active construction possibilities in the urban construction of the valley, and hope to provide a shallow reference for the protection and utilization of the valleys in the southwestern mountainous cities.
