According to the development plan and needs of different stages of our country,the new railway lines built at present are mostly carried out in the complex mountain areas.In these areas,engineering geological conditions are often very complicated,and many bad geological disasters,such as collapse,rock pile,landslide,fracture structure and debris flow,are distributed.At this time,the engineering geological condition has become an important basis for the line selection.However,the current 3D visualization of line selection is generally lacking in the integrated application and effective expression of geological information.This cannot meet the requirement for the railway in the mountainous area,which focuses on the geological selection.With the development and application of BIM,the impact of BIM technology on the engineering construction industry is obvious.It is the second revolution of engineering survey and design.However,due to the complexity of railway engineering,the application of BIM technology in the field of railway is still in the beginning and exploration stage,and the related research results are relatively few.This paper adopted the railway geological selection design based on whole BIM model for the first time,devoting to the rapid and accurate completion of the 3D geological model by using BIM Technology and carrying out the design and analysis of the relevant railway geological line selection,which provided new ideas and new targets for the realization of railway geological route selection.The main research content and results of this paper are as follows:(1)Aiming at pre planning stage of the line,based on the secondary development of Google Earth,have realized the acquisition of the digital elevation model DEM,the acquisition and automatic splicing of the remote sensing images,and completed the remote sensing interpretation of the line engineering geological information.The virtual borehole interpolation program has been developed and realized the prediction and acquisition of borehole information in the unknown area.The CATIA secondary development technology has been used to complete the introduction of drilling holes and the addition of virtual boreholes,so that the engineering experience could be added to the actual modeling process.(2)Based on the CATIA platform,the modeling research of terrain,bad geological structure and stratigraphic entity has been successfully completed,especially the establishment of unfavorable geological structure,such as fault layer,landslide,karst and debris flow.At the same time,the rendering of the geological model has also been completed.Based on the 3D geological model constructed by CATIA,we've successfully realized the cutting of the model by any multi angle,and completed the 2D drawing of the section,and realized the 3D visualization of the geological model.(3)Based on the CATIA platform,the parameterized modeling of the bridge,tunnel,roadbed,track and other line structures has been successfully realized.At the same time,based on the knowledge engineering module,we've created the corresponding structure template and completed the line entity model database.(4)The design idea of the whole railway skeleton has been put forward.Based on the secondary development of knowledge engineering,the rapid creation and automatic assembly of line structure has been realized,and the whole line model design has been explored innovatively,which improved the design efficiency.(5)By using the secondary development technology of CATIA,the line fixing work in the 3D geological model has been completed.The technology of determining the reasonable range of the line space based on the three-dimensional geological model has also been realized with the help of the attribute query of the geological model and the real-time reminder of the geological information.(6)The spatial conflict detection of the bad geological entity model and the line structure model has been completed,and the reasonable design and optimization of the line structure scheme have also been realized.Through the engineering excavation and engineering volume statistics of different schemes,the comparison and selection of line structures in partial area has been completed,which provides the basis for budget estimate of engineering cost.
