Hydraulic and Hydroelectric Engineering Based on CATIA Abstract:Currently, the development and application of3D visualization technology receive more and more attention in various fields. Dassault Systemes CATIA has become the software platform of3D collaborative design in hydraulic and hydroelectric engineering. However, the geological modeling technology has been a bottleneck of3D visualization technology, restricting its further promotion. This paper focuses on how to make3D geological model by CATIA rapidly and conveniently, which can be used in latter visual analysis. The main contents are as follows.(1)3D geological modeling method. Using Windows as the platform, apply the Dassault Systemes CATIA to3D geological modeling with drilling data plus geological plans and sections. Build complete geological model, and realize the geological information integration and reduction.(2) Carry out secondary development of CATIA, according to its shortage in geological modeling. Simplify the complicated procedure to make the modeling process even faster. Develop the geological modeling platform, the extraction and import procedure and grouping of drilling data, the virtual drilling program and modeling template of special geological elements.(3)2D mapping function. Develop geological modeling output procedures of2D plans and sections. Achieve rapid generation of2D maps during the whole modeling process.(4) The3D model visualization. Realize virtual roaming, image rendering, arbitrary cutting of geological model, bring about the dynamic visual effects and display the3D model explicit and real on multiple level.(5) Design the engineering material field on the basis of the3D geological model, conduct the simulating excavation and calculate the excavation volume. Practical application in engineering. Using concrete engineering examples to verify the practicability of3D geological modeling technology based on CATIA. |
