Wheelset is the core component of the bogie and rail connection,the whole weight of the vehicle and transferring the rail and the wheel force are borne by the wheel.The static load,the dynamic load,the thermal effect produced by brake pads braking,the centrifugal force produced by the bending,are attached in different forms to the wheelset,Therefore,it is essential for the driving safety to make the wheel set maintain a good state in the course of the train operation.The running state of the t rain can be directly reflected by the damage and the degree of abrasion of tread that is in the contact between the wheel and the rail,so it is very important to detect the trea d surface.The measurement methods of tread contour in recent years are classified and sum marized,the current domestic wheel tread contour measurement method is still mainl y manual detection in this paper.The working efficiency is low and the measurement e rror is large.Although the domestic and foreign scholars have no contact Measureme nt methods are carried out a lot of research,but most of the results are not applied to t he wheel tread detection work scene,while the detection parameters are not comprehe nsive enough,can not accurately reflect the wheel tread state.Aiming at the above pro blems,this paper presents a static measurement method based on the tread profile cur ve of the two-dimensional laser profile scanning sensor for non-operational applicatio ns such as vehicle wheel production workshop and wheeled maintenance workshop a nd design a set of non-contact wheel tread Contour measurement system.The design of the wheel tread contour measuring system includes two parts,hard ware acquisition system and tread contour data software processing system.By the co mparison of the selected two two-dimensional contour scanners,computers,capture c ards,communication modules and other hardware devices to complete the hardware a cquisition system structures.Application of the calibration of a good collection of equi pment in the static environment to complete the selected JM3-type wheel tread profile data acquisition,transmission,processing and storage.In the Linux system based on the Qt platform design contains spatial calibration and coordinate transformation,data processing,contour parameter detection and other functional modules tread profile d ata processing system.In this paper,the calibration and coordinate transformation of t wo laser scanning sensors are accomplished by using the method of target reconstruct ion,the data denoising and data smoothing are adopted by the method of chord height difference,and the two sensor acquisition contour is fitted by using the least squares segment to complete the recovery of tread contour.In order to verify the accuracy and stability of the wheel tread profile measureme nt system designed in this paper,this paper is based on the rolling platform of the loco motive running section,and compares and tests the results of repeated measurements of the parameters of different types of wheel tread curves and system test results.The design principle of this paper is feasible and the system tread contour is more accurate and stable,and has certain application value.In the Linux system based on the Qt pla tform design contains spatial calibration and coordinate transformation,data processi ng,contour parameter detection and other functional modules tread profile data proce ssing system.
