Study On Color Healing Of Exterior Environment In Urban Shantytowns

As society develops rapidly,the problem of urban shantytowns has attracted the attention of state and society.Due to national policies,social and economic factors,the transformation pace of city shantytowns has also been affected.The living condition of the areas is generally with poor housing,poor environment,hidden security risks.The residents usually have poor education,and work hard with low incomes.The color condition of city shantytowns’ outer environment is messy and disordered.Such living environment causes great negative impacts on resident physiologically and psychologically.To solve the problem,by a transitional way and in the control of limited economic conditions,color design is made for outer environment before renovation of city shantytowns.It will bring healing comfort to residents and improve living environment of the shantytowns.The method feathers rapid transformation and quick construction.And the color can comfort people’s physical and psychological feelings.Via literature,fieldwork and other research methods,the paper analyzed domestic and foreign researches,combined basic national condition with social development,to explore the meaning of color healing in outer environment transformation of city shantytowns.Based on color psychology,architectural color design,landscape color design,city color planning and design,color therapy and other related theories,the function,behavior,vision,psychological and spiritual factors on color of outer building environment in city shantytowns were deeply studied,and application feasibility of color healing in outer environment of city shantytowns was analyzed.Besides,by deeply paper analysis on color healing effect on people,to study color healing design methods applied in city shantytowns,and summed the color design principles for shantytown outer environment based on such methods.Finally,it summarizes the application of color healing in city shantytown building outer environment,hoping that the study can offer design ideas and methods for construction of city shantytowns before transformation.
