In recent years, with the acceleration of urbanization, urban traffic congestion is increasingly obvious while the urban rail transit, featuring large capacity, fast speed, environmental protection, and space-saving,becomes the best choice for easing this problem. At present, the “Xi’an City Rapid Rail Transit Construction Plan Adjustment(2013~2021)” has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, and by the end of 2017,a total mileage of 270.68 kilometers has been approved.Xi’an Metro currently has three lines in operation with a total operating mileage of 88.97 kilometers.Beidajie station, the first transfer station of Xi’an Metro connecting Line 1 and Line 2,covers the maximum passenger flow among 3 transfer stations of Xi’an Metro. The establishment of convenient and fast transfer system can not only meet the transfer needs at Beidajie station, but also help to improve the economic and social benefits.Through analysis of transfer optimization method of urban rail transfer stations,as well as statistics and analysis of infrastructures of Beidajie station based on field investigation, various passenger flow data and transfer ability have been analyzed and the solution to enhance the transfer ability needs to be found out. This paper, based on the basic principle of social force model, uses Anylogic software to simulate real situation of Beidajie station so as to analyze existing problems in transfer organization scheme and put forward suggestions for improvement,as well as verify the effect of the improved scheme.Meanwhile, this paper puts forward specific optimization measures from the aspects of improving passenger flow line, strengthening passenger flow guidance and optimizing traffic organization, and provides auxiliary design and decision support for operators of Beidajie station as well as other similar urban rail transit operators.
