Machine-made sand is widely used in asphalt pavement due to its excellent physical properties.The mechanism sand is different from the natural sand,so long as the stone material with the same hardness can be broken through the machine,the mass production can be produced once the quality monitoring system is set up in the process flow.China has rich reserves of limestone mineral resources,and it is convenient for mining,so the limestone mechanism sand is often used as a fine aggregate in the asphalt pavement.It can not only improve the road performance of asphalt mixture,but also greatly reduce the cost of the transportation of mineral materials.Therefore,the construction units gradually adopt the machine.Sand is used as a substitute for natural sand to carry out the construction of highway engineering.However,through many engineering practice,it has been found that there is a certain blind area in the current mechanism of sand,and the mixture that only depends on the current mechanism of sand technology reflects the poor road performance.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out research on the applicability of machine-made sand in asphalt pavement,promote the rational utilization of machine-made sand,and improve the road performance of asphalt mixture.In this paper,the application of machine-made sand in asphalt pavement is studied based on the ten day high speed project in Gansu area.First,in addition to the influence of the mechanism sand and strength on the asphalt mixture,the reasonable mechanism sand in the asphalt pavement is given.Secondly,the mixture of limestone mechanism sand and the mixture of different lithology coarse aggregate is studied for the asphalt pavement with limestone mechanism sand.Road performance and shear properties,combined with traffic volume and climate zoning,put forward the application of different lithology coarse aggregate mixing limestone mechanism sand.Finally,the hard rock wear resistance performance is poor,the hard rock replacement scheme is proposed and paved road test road verification.The experimental study shows that the use of limestone mechanism sand in the asphalt pavement can significantly improve the water stability and low temperature resistance of asphalt mixture,the higher the strength of the mechanism sand,the better the pavement performance of the asphalt mixture after forming,and the pavement performance of the asphalt mixture with diorite coarse aggregate is obviously better than that of the single lime.The rock material is graded to asphalt mixture,and the asphalt mixture which is mixed with the first grade limestone mechanism sand with the coarse aggregate of diorite is paved on the test road,and the initial detection index is good.
